Home Alone

Grandma and Grandpa May and Uncle Andrew left today so now it's just Mike, Missy and Gunner left to fend for themselves. We really enjoyed having all the family out here (especially the Grandmas who were awesome with doing the cooking, cleaning and laundry). The Grandpas weren't too shabby either---they were great with feeding Gunner (not so good with changing diapers). :-)

We got some pictures from Sears a couple of days ago. The photographer actually got a couple of Gunner with his eyes open!! She was amazing!

More Christmas and Gunner's 2nd week

Gunner is now over a week old! He's gaining weight and is finally getting some baby fat--gotta love those chubby cheeks! We had a fabulous Christmas with Grandma and Grandpa Hyland, although I think we were all a bit sleep deprived.

Speaking of sleep, Gunner is a great sleeper! We have to wake him up for almost every feeding! He only cries when he needs a diaper change---which is very often (he takes after his dad in the "pipes" department).

Christmas 2007

Poor Gunner...none of his clothes fit him! And we have so many CUTE newborn winter clothes! We had to go out and buy him some premie clothes. We still dress him in a few other outfits, but we have to roll up the sleeves and his feet don't come anywhere near the "footsies."

Gunner's First Week

First Week with Gunner

We've had a fun and exciting week with Gunner. This kid can sleep!! Let's hope it stays that way. Gunner went to see Santa when he was just 6 days old. He slept...go figure! Grandma and Grandpa Hyland have been helping out a lot with their first grandchild. He's very happy they're here. He's anxious to meet Grandma and Grandpa May next week.

Welcome Gunner Mitchell May!

He's HERE!! BOTOT (Baby On Time On Target)! What else would you expect from the son of two fighter pilots? After a short 5 hour labor and delivery, Gunner Mitchell May entered the world at 0846 on Dec 13th, 2007. He's doing great!

Just hanging around waiting.....

So the midwife told me she thought I'd probably deliver this weekend. Well, it's sunday at 3:45 and NOTHING! This is so frustrating! Well, 4 days until the due date...guess I'll look forward to that.

The nursery is almost done--need to paint monkeys on one more wall.

Enjoy the pictures.

39 Weeks

Ok, Mike made me take these pictures of my belly and I can't believe I'm about to post them, but what the heck. My weight has remained the same for the past couple weeks now which is normal so this is as big as I'm going to get. Thankfully, it's really not that big. We took a Prepared Childbirth class last week and I've never felt so "little" in my life!! I don't know how some of those other ladies were able to get out of bed in the morning!!

Still no sign of Baby May coming out. I'm soooo ready. Wish he was.
